Privacy Policy

Overview

Soluvit helps you track sun exposure and estimate vitamin D synthesis. There are no accounts, no ads, and no data brokers. Data access is permission-based and used only to make the app work.

Data Soluvit uses

  • Location Used to retrieve the local UV index, weather, air quality, and sunrise/sunset times. During an active session, location keeps the burn-limit countdown running in the background.
  • Health (optional) With your permission, time in daylight and vitamin D estimates are saved to Apple Health. On Apple Watch, sessions are recorded as workouts.
  • App data Skin type, clothing, sunscreen, sessions, supplements, and preferences are stored on your device.

iCloud sync

If iCloud is enabled, your session history and settings sync through your private iCloud database (Apple CloudKit). Only your Apple Account can access this data; we cannot read it, and it never touches our servers — we don’t have any.

Weather data providers

To fetch the forecast, your approximate coordinates are sent to Apple Weather and to the Open-Meteo weather service. Coordinates are used only to answer the weather request; no identifiers, names, or histories are attached to them.

Data sharing

  • Soluvit does not sell personal data.
  • Soluvit does not use third-party advertising SDKs.
  • Soluvit does not use cross-app tracking.

Analytics

The app reports anonymous crash and usage diagnostics to help us fix problems. This data contains no personal information and cannot be tied to you. This website uses Google Analytics with anonymized measurement.

Your controls

You can revoke any permission in iOS Settings at any time (Location, Health, Notifications). You can disable iCloud sync for Soluvit in Settings → Apple Account → iCloud. Soluvit respects system-level permission states and will not prompt repeatedly.

Medical disclaimer

Soluvit provides wellness estimates and is not a medical device or a substitute for professional medical advice.
